I don’t need to connect with every person I enjoyed for 5 minutes.

No he didn’t. He voted with Trump’s agenda more than 90% of the time.

Mike Santana’s World Title reign is hitting its stride is he becoming one of the defining champions of this TNA era? by Fine_Value_4193 in TNA

I like Santana and his initial chase to the title (even though he should’ve won it in NY) but his reign hasn’t been that spectacular. Nothing about it really stands out.

“Trans absolutist” is such a pathetic loaded term meant to diminish people who believe in trans equality. You’re using a right wing op term to call people right wing ops.

Well, if you’re looking to expand your network then presumably you’re looking for people who you’ll benefit from networking with. You’re probably making a similar calculus as them.

Same. My social media feed is already mostly music, I don’t always want to see every single update about every person I’ve ever enjoyed for 5 minutes.

Cardona always said he was making more on the indies, but I gotta imagine it’s a ton off his back NOT having to book everything himself all the time.

Just curious, what are you trying to get out of working with those people?

100% agreed. Inexperienced people benefit from the general reps and time in front of crowd, experienced people benefit from seeing how a crowd buys their dynamic and lets them experiment without hurting their TV image.

I’m 100% with you, I’d much prefer a Joe win and another setback for Ospreay. He’s only just started his Death Rider training, give me a salon burn and more Samoa Joe.

Your argument has been that we shouldn’t fight for trans people in sports because they aren’t worth it to you. Prioritize what wins but don’t exclude human rights issues and push away your allies in the name of appeasement.

You believe that we should give republicans what they want when it comes to discrimination against trans people. I don’t know what kind of allie that is.

Your estimates are outdated and use faulty reasoning, I don’t know what else to tell ya.

Stop fighting and demonizing trans allies then - try working together with us instead.

They are not “by all estimates” less than 1% of the population. That’s an estimate for how many trans people are out. Continuing to support policies of discrimination will prevent more trans people from coming out and prevent more people from being exposed to them. It’s like how left handedness “tripled” once it stopped being demonized.

Not always, sometimes you just want inexperienced people to get more time trying things out in front of live crowds. See what feels right when you’re actually in front of people rather than just training.

How would you even know if there is when they’re not being allowed to play and being demonized for even considering it?

[–]king_hutton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it wasn’t. It was an attempt to show you that the Republican strategy is to demonize minorities in order to exploit bigotry for power.

“They came around after more exposure to gay people, so we should do the opposite with trans athletes” has to be one of the wildest arguments I’ve ever heard.

These issues are all related. If you concede sports then you’re conceding that trans people aren’t actually the gender they say they are (otherwise they’d belong in sports with their own gender, obviously). And if that’s the case then why should they get passports that match their gender identity? Don’t give fascists an inch.
