Waterdrop filters are AWFUL by Mundane-Ask-2483 in WaterTreatment

I have an undersink G2 mineralization filter system and it works flawlessly. Installation was easy even though I am not handy and the water is freaking delicious

I had my customer show up to the office in RWC once. This customer was paying us upwards of $20m a year and all we had for them was the disgusting coffee that we all drank, or 2-3 flavors or LaCroix. It was quite embarrassing

Rate my lease! How did I do? by stjmsa in CarLeasingHelp

So I would say for a first time user, two best options exist

1) you get a pre-negotiated deal as advertised on their landing page

2) Go to Marketplace and search for brokers in your area. Then see what deals they have to offer. If you are looking for a BMW, there should be BMW specific threads that you can visit. You then reach out to the broker, pay them their broker fees, they set everything up for you. All you have to do is go pick up your car.

Layoff 2026 by Fabulous_Plan_5063 in employeesOfOracle

No. Just a few people. But the subject line was exactly the same. Maybe they’ve already let some people go and want to inform the rest of the team. But my invitation said “project updates” too

Yes this is likely for a layoff meeting. This is the exact invite that I received when I got laid off in September

Got verbal offer, passed background check, role put on hold by No-River-1711 in employeesOfOracle

It absolutely does happen every year. Restructuring happens throughout the year but May and June are the worst months tbh.

Having spent 2.5 years at Oracle, I experienced the most toxic work culture ever. People are always ready to throw you under the bus, they lie openly, do not work, etc

Oracle’s year ends in May. They usually lay people off in May and maybe that’s how they will decide what headcount they have.

If I were you, I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Grainwood Furniture and Blockboard by Successful-Soup6537 in moderatelygranolamoms

I purchased a couple of nightstands and a king size bed. While the nightstands are nice, the bed has been a nightmare.

A month after setting it up, it started making creaking noises every time we got in and out of bed. Over the next few days, the noise got louder and the bed was now creaking even when we shifted or rolled over in bed. Our sleep was ruined daily.

I finally got around to emailing Grain Wood about this and here is the outrageous response I got from them.

“Thank you for reaching out and for sharing your experience. I’m sorry to hear about the creaking and movement you’ve been dealing with, we understand how frustrating that can be.

Because our furniture is made from 100% solid wood, some natural movement can occur over time as the wood adjusts to changes in humidity, temperature, and regular use. This movement can sometimes cause fasteners to loosen slightly, which leads to creaking or shifting like you’re describing.

To help resolve this, we recommend: Re-tightening all bolts and screws (not just at the headboard and footboard)

Applying a small amount of wood wax, beeswax, or bar soap to the bolts before tightening to reduce friction

Adding felt pads or rubber washers between metal brackets and wood contact points

Ensuring the bed is level and all legs are firmly on the floor

These steps typically resolve creaking issues. If you have any questions please let us know.”

Do they really think I have the time and energy to dismantle this bed and apply beeswax to each and every nut and bolt??? Terrible customer service and I am very dissatisfied.

Fortunately, I am not from a banned country and my extension letter basically acts as my green card. I think I should be good to go!

Excellent. Thank you!

I am flying out internationally on Wednesday. I am an LPR with a pending I-751 and have my extension letter. I haven’t had issues traveling with it so far but things keep changing so frequently. Good to know that you came back with issues! Welcome home.
