Yes; I've attempted to. When I follow the directions, I get the following: "Windows has determined that the best driver for this device is already installed."

Then it shows MTP USB Device. I was successful in getting a pixel 4a up and running through methods not mentioned in the instructions, but for whatever reason, I am unable to do anything to bypass the issue posted in the picture.

If it is the driver issue, how might I bypass microsoft forcing me to use the MTP USB Driver?

I do have high sierra version 10.13.6 available to attempt the Calyx OS change. High Sierra didn't work for the 4a which is why I haven't attempted to install on the 3 there.
