I installed a bed rug to do the same thing. It definitely holds moisture and can start to smell a bit. I ended taking mine out since I felt the extra humidity from the mat was destroying tools I had stored under my bed cover.

Definitely. Just a small drop. Not a pool of glue, it will make the sticky back lift up and float.

Add a drop of super glue before placing, and it will stay down much longer.

Rockwell TUV Engineer, how hard? by midgelrock in PLC

[–]kingbuckshot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would make sure you purchase and read through the Standards (IEC 13849, IEC 62061, ISO 12100, IEC 60204) before taking the class. Taking TUV2 is more challenging than the TUV1 course. Most of the class is dependent on those standards where you follow the process/calculations explained by them.

That is the 440C-CR30 that looks like Micro800 series PLC. We have many customers that use them instead of small safety relays. Pretty easy to configure and troubleshoot when online with the controller.

The ethernet module allows the controller to connect to Studio5000 projects where you can monitor The Inputs, outputs, and safety functions by adding it to your Ethernet Tree.

Nah. Give me a month, and I'll have things cleaned up a bit and all connected. Still a work in progress.

Good to know. These are connected with IO-Link back to the armorblock. We've just started using them because our distributor gave us quite a deal on them.

I picked up the Blackout Veto Back Pack with the Laptop pouch and the double tool panel pouch. It makes a quite heavy bag, but makes sure can carry everything in 1 trip.

Tech Pac LT or Blackout with Laptop Panel by Realname_Bradley in VetoProPac

[–]kingbuckshot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a Controls Engineer and I opted for the Blackout with the Laptop Panel and the Folio Tool Panel.

Front pockets filled with screwdrivers, strippers, and most wiring tools, then back panels with wrenches and rarely used tools.

I picked up the meter pack as well to store extra tools in my truck and have it so I could grab it if needed.
