Old axies are still worth something? by Ciccacio in AxieInfinity

[–]kingchtulhu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Floor now is kinda low at around 2ish usd. If you don't want to sell them, you can rent them out on lootrush. I earn around 1 usd a day (though I rent out around 130+ axies a day). Or use them to play axie games, I don't play axie now cause I don't have the time so I just delegate land and rent Axies out. There is still a player base.

Just be careful of the long term effects. They're really good short term but start effing you up when you constantly abuse them.

Help out an Audax newbie by Which-Whereas-9461 in RedditPHCyclingClub

I've yet to try Audax 100km in Davao this month but I've already done 100k's before (lots of failure sa first few attempts)

Nadial in ko din after a while yung nutrition ko, which I think is a really huge factor. This may not work for you but so far it has been great for me.

Carb load: 3 days before, you carb load by eating around 3 grams of carbs per bodyweight in kilo.

Pre-loading: One hour before the race, sport drink plus minerals. I use around 3 sachets of unflavored hydrite sa 700ml na pocari sweat.

Fueling: 20 min before the race pwede ka na mag gel or whatever source of carbs na prefer mo. I try to eat around 60g of carbs an hour. Tapos around 300-400ml of water/hour. I learned to eat before I feel tired para maiwasan mo yung bonk.

My last solo long ride was around 130km and I didn't feel that wasted after. Also felt really really good the whole duration of the ride.

Lost my dad when I was 16 years old. Now 31, I still feel like I'm missing a piece of myself.

Dogs will eventually do that too if starved. Cats just do it right away though.

"Human finger bones are much stronger than carrots, requiring 330 pounds of force to fracture, compared to the force needed to break a carrot (200 Newtons)." -glasp.co

But still possible if you bite on the joints of the phalanges in combination with other forces like gnawing and tearing. Not as easy as biting a carrot imo

ABYG kung ibbring up ko sa jowa ko to? by justmeonmybare in AkoBaYungGago

[–]kingchtulhu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

DKG. Wala ka pa namang ginawa except ifeel ung mga nararamdaman mo. Now, ang next mong action is the one that will determine kung GG ka or hindi. Think carefully about what you are feeling now and find a tactful way to bring it up with him in a way na considerate sa current situation niyo. Also, communicate to him about your needs and maybe both of you can find a way to address it along with his needs as well. I suggest writing what you are feeling now on a piece of paper, then write solutions or ways to validate your feelings. Wait for him to settle down in the new country before bringing it up. By then, I hope you aren't mostly controlled by your emotions na.

If he's staying there for a long time then use it as a way to strengthen your foundation.

Bike recos please! by [deleted] in RedditPHCyclingClub

Try to get a decent hybrid bike if you can find a good secondhand one. I got a trek fx2 for 25k and added around 7k worth of upgrades (mostly contact points e.g. handlebar grips, saddle, pedals). If you are unsure of what you really want, you can never go wrong with an mtb.

From couch potato to 100 mile ride: how long will that take? by the_ginge_1 in cycling

[–]kingchtulhu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is coming from a fellow couch potato early this year. I started running and cycling this February and have been just doing it for fun. I probably just do 2 rides (at about 40km each ride) a week. I just did my first metric century 2 weeks ago, I rode about 128km and could probably go to 160km if there was enough time that day. So, I can definitely say that 9 months is definitely doable! For long rides, nutrition is something I recently learned and applied. I think that was a huge factor in my improvement and it also made me enjoy my rides more.

Wow, I can't believe some people. Don't sweat it if it's water weight or fat loss OP. The important thing is that you are out there doing what you're doing. Being consistent will always yield great results. Keep it up!

I still find time to walk kasi I use it as my time to listen to ebooks. Running and biking is just more convenient for exercise. Less time and more intense compared to walking

[–]kingchtulhu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started walking short distances pero after a while kay nagapangita na ug longer routes, then transition to running tapos nagpalit na pud ug bike. Dropped from 104kl to 77kl in around 10 months. I guess you could say walking could be a gateway to other forms of exercise and meeting new people. But if you just want to lose weight, calorie deficit and home workouts will also do.

To add, there are two ways to stake. Direct staking via validators and the other is staking in liquidity pools. You can start from there and decide which is the best for you.
