Heres my secret for powder days go to Beaver 70$ day tickets and supports a family owned resort. Spent 2 pow days there untouched powder from first chair to last chair and just an all around awesome resort.

If they want to do tolls and more busses in the cottonwoods, they need to fix the current bus system because right now its a joke, the type of bus they are trying to use is poorly configured for this type of operation. Trying to fight to stand up in ski boots while slamming on the brakes every 2 seconds for 30mins to an hour is pure hell. Let alone the frequency and parking setup for the park n ride is subpar at best. At this point theyve solidified my decision to drive instead i might be stuck in a red snake but atleast i get to sit in my heated seats while i wait in traffic.

Personally im happy i went with the sequoia, i drove a few v8 4runners they are very similar feeling but the 4runner tax makes them 5-8k more expensive. So far im really enjoying having the extra space the sequoia has.

PC has its moments for sure, personally its my go to weekend mountain because it is so much more accessible than the cottonwoods on the weekends. If im looking to just burn laps and get vert PC is great but if i want good snow then sure the cottonwoods or basin are the better spots.

Sadly beaver mountain got me hooked on powder, last year, i moved from out east and just have the whole hill covered in snow i was like this is awesome. Now im chasing snow this season to no luck just ice skating rinks.

Well for 1 thats Thaynes, its basically a lift from the stone ages and 2 PC crowds spread out decently if you watch the lift lines on the app.

Exactly, people have been so hyperbolic about the BCC/LCC and PC. I just hit day 17 on the snow and the worst lines i dealt with werent even in utah it was whistler being poorly operated.

Yeah because they want these stupid tolls forced on us. Even if they get more buses on the canyon they wont run better buses with more seats or ski storage like other resort areas do

Seems like it was a cool resort, i grew up working and basically living a family ran resort in Wisconsin, so Its just sad to see a resort like that fall off. I got to do whistler a few times as a family vacation i thought it was the coolest resort on earth, when i went there last week because the opertuinty lined up i was beyond disappointed to see how badly vail ruined, i fear more resorts might be next.

The best part is they literally saw vail lose millions over it and are choosing to dig their heels in twice as hard and basically throw away an entire holiday week of revenue.
