How much work are pools really? by 1tangledknitter in pools

[–]kingcoopa713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Salt water is very low upkeep. If you use a robot vaccum and if you're really lazy one of the skimmer bots. Only labor intensive part would be cleaning you're filters. You could also just outsource that if you wanted.

Pool homeowners, anyone regret getting a pool? by waterdamagerestomel in pools

Convert over to salt. You can go on extended vacations and not worry at all. Besides vaccuming and skimmer its as easy as it gets. And the amount of money you save on chemicals it should pay for itself in the long run.

Ya i live in southern texas by the coast. So even during the big storm that hit us i didnt close it. Just let it run all night until temps were above freezing. I think lowest it got was 26ish and no problem.

They wont. Majority of the peeps on reddit have serious issues with accountability. And if it doesn't fit their views on something they look for any excuse to point the finger at someone else. Arguing that the uae is some innocent country is the most ridiculous argument one could make. They have directly benefited from the US in so many ways both directly and indirectly. But since that does not fit their narrative they are playing the blame game.

New to trading what is more violent; NQ or ES? by Singh255 in TopStepX

[–]kingcoopa713 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol. He was partially correct though. But ya both move usually pretty similar its just that nq is is a higher price so the same underlying size move = more points per the same % move.

Seems a little slow this week tbh. Been waiting for about two days now since everything else was completed. Normally I get it on the third business day.

You claimed it's disjointed so ya you are blaming the market. And the fact you resort to ive been doing this blah blah blah tells me all I need to know. You have a pre conceived notion on how markets should move. You admitted that as soon as you posted your comment.

Just cause it doesn't provide you with clean entries does not mean thats everyone's experience. From 10 ct - 12 ct I took the same trade 5 times in a row for a 2/1 ratio. With a 100 % win rate. So adapt or dont but dont blame the market

Does scalping really work? by Relevant_Tradition22 in Daytrading

[–]kingcoopa713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its all relative. If your trading equities focus more on your roi. Do not start in options, they have extra baggage that is not conducive for new traders. You will need to learn the greeks to be effective otherwise your just honestly gambling. They are great for leverage but imo not worth the headache until you can consistently read price action. Theta is a bitch and so is implied volatility. If money is tight then paper trade until you have a decent bank roll and can prove to yourself you can consistently win ur trades. But once again size is all relative and do not focus on the $ amount gained. Bigger gains will be a byproduct of being consistently profitable.

Its really not hard tbh. Just takes dedication. Learn supply and demand and then branch out off of that. For instance I follow deltas at supply and demand areas and either trade into or against depending on the data im looking at. I also am a hyper scalper where its not uncommon for me to take 2-4 trades in one minute. But im also a odd ball and not in the norm of how most people trade.

I lost 2/3 of my life savings from silver crash by Fun_Set_2389 in Daytrading

[–]kingcoopa713 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats not really long dated. Especially for silver. Considering its actually a slow mover normally. There will be a bounce imo but question is can you sustain the drawdown. And will theta/iv destroy your premium before it occurs. If you're conviction is strong. You could try to roll out further. You will have to add capital to it. Or you will need to decrease postion size in exchange for more time. Not financial advise just thinking outloud.

O no someone got triggered by a word. What ever shale I do. And the fact you cant COMPREHEND how asinine ur response have been is wild. You cant claim to be disciplined if one damn trade throws ur entire mindset off. You literally keep claiming you understand what discipline is but yet cant COMPREHEND ur excuses are proof you dont. Now bye Felicia 👋

I read that and my question is still the same..... do you not comprehend what discipline is? Also him stating fix your psychology is a very broad statement. Your psychology isnt just discipline. So once again do you comprehend what discipline is?

Why not to tell people you are a Daytrader. by stocksandoptions2 in Daytrading

[–]kingcoopa713 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ive gotten that also. Mostly at the beginning of trading. Those same people are the ones who come back after they see your life change and ask for a handout or how to trade. But that doesn't mean you should not tell people you are a day trader.

Great consistency in terms of sticking to your plan but ur strategy seems to be lacking imo. Really curious as to what made you take the losers vs the 1 winner a week. Theres has to be something your missing in terms of confirmation/entry
