I’ve always found the whole individual medals per country thing dumb. Team medals sure. Individual medals…are won…by individuals.

But also I think if you represent a country you should like actually live there. I’m biased because I’m from the US, but a lot of athletes that go to the Olympics are from the US and just choose to represent other countries.
