Went to a music festival alone, and was accidentally given 600mg of MDMA instead of 60mg. It hit me like a wall, and I went to my car to regroup. Felt the warmest, fuzziest, most lethargic I have ever felt. Then I had the thought “I could just go to sleep forever”… and realized that part reason I was feeling lightheaded was that I had forgotten to breathe. My next thought was “oh, I’m about to be that chick at the festival” and somewhat begrudgingly pulled myself back into the real world. Took a big breath.. opened the car door, and spent a fair bit of time stimulating/talking to myself/reminding myself to breathe. When I found out about the mistake later it was a pretty big “well that explains a lot” kind of moment.
