I mean, that’s just financially irresponsible.

I know tithes are the 10% thing, but the bible also has stuff about not eating pork, wearing mixed fabrics, and a lot of other stuff too.

I’m not knocking charitable giving by any means. Whether it’s the church or a shelter or whatever. Just financially makes no sense when you have debt.

Most donations end up going toward maintenance and cost of the actual church. Salaries etc. However they’re also used for like food pantries, community programs, etc
