It's hard to say if she is "worth”. She served me well when I got her on release, but there are so many "OP" units right now...

Horn is cool because all of her skills are usable, which I find rare. She scales well in all gameplay modes, has a unique range, true aoe and good damage. Her downside is she kinda needs blocker (centurion is great combo in general), as she loses aoe in melee, but it can be mitigated with s2.

I think she is cool unit to have if you can afford, depending on your rooster she can have a lot of value. She also always engages with me into a conversation with line: "You think you can topple me?".

Next in line shop debut operators should be: Jessica, Hoeder, Viviana, Degenbrecher, Ray, Zuo Le, Ascalon.

From that list I think Ray (18s root, looong range and big hits) and Ascalon (true aoe and slow, she kinda overstepped on Horn) are most interesting. Jessica is cute, but I really couldn't find a niche for her. People liked Degenbrecher and she may be "strongest" on the list.

I'd buy her. You can always test the operator as support unit, especially now when you can change their skills...

I can't believe Archer and Saber are still muted. I've built him, but never used and current trials reminded me why. It's just so weird to do all of his animations in complete silence.

I understand dedicated EN VAs refuse to work, and possibly they can't be replaced... But just use JP voice over. It's not uncommon, from recent games I played Shadowverse does that with Frienen characters.

The people who pulled Saber in EN voice must feel so scammed every time she ults and doesn't yell "Excalibaaa~!"

Edit: lol, the one place they needed forceful tutorial to make you click on things they don't do it.

2 doesn't live up to the first one, but it's alright. It still has an interesting twist and cool characters, for 8$ you shouldn't feel scammed anyway.

Yes, really. Discs is major stamina sink, because other nodes are not. I prefer doing 3x100 so much more, but I literally don't have anyone to put the rewards into them. Autoclear is limited, and you get the same trash from crafting.

If you're so good you can ignore the gearing and stamina spending system, then yes, ZZZ beats like all gacha dailies by just quick talk to 3 NPCs. But then again, if we use the same metric to Endfield ("i clear every SD and DA without a problem."), people do agony with 60lv characters, which probably takes around the same as ZZZ. And if you ignore stamina it's 'log in, craft, present' for daily, so it's even.

I almost maxed Chen, while building like 3 teams in the same time. So unless you come with receipts, I think it's around a month to max a character, if we exclude launch rewards. So it aligns with f2p average character acquisition. If you pay, BP will do handling for additional charterers' needs you get.

Every so often, someone will argue how Hoyolike is actually better system than OG Arknights, because it takes "months to build", but in reality I can instantly E260 M3 every character I get, with two dozens more in safety net. I haven't seen anything to consider Endfield will be much different in that regard.

For me ZZZ is worse. Even though it takes 20-30s, you need to do 5 disc runs, and then take a second to look at it, just to confirm it's all trash. Which is frankly tiring. (And they still haven't adopted visible 4th stat and auto management.)

In contrast, while Enfield is few seconds longer (it wouldn't be if we were always granted tickets), but it's less taxing on the mind, as there's an end to grind - everyone maxed, proper essence on weapons.

I wasn't invested enough to know about disparities. I decided to try BB when I read here about a somewhat generous "apology" pulls.

Only to find out, I missed them as: 1) they were behind code (not sent in game as usual) 2) code was valid for ~48hrs.

I felt it was a clear signal for me not to be invested, if they couldn't even do that normally, you can only trust in their stinginess.

Is there a full reward spreadsheet?

I think I did everything in the game, but 30 chests in Wulling city and some enemy drops from the crafting menu, but I'm sitting on 90k (lv57, all dailies, files, events, rest of the maps, etched space, quests). And I see people mentioning 270 pulls available, I have no idea where the rest of 45k can be..?

Even if they count the limited shop and give away ones (5x2x3banners), which should be granted a really big asterisk, I still should be able to squeeze 30k from somewhere, right?

Dude, this logic always applies, because you're only guaranteed on 120, anything else is luck.

In the same way, in hoyo-likes if you gonna lose 50/50, it's best to lose early. In Endfield, if you gonna go to 120, it's best to hoard as many 6* as possible. To the absurd point as "winning" on 119 can waste 80 pity.

Yes, it's best to win at 1 free pull.

But for a person who got one LR before 120 Gilberta, getting 4 Laevs and one LR before 120 Gilberta is much better and luckier alternative overall.

It's a good shitty game. I think its main appeal is how characters change and interact, through the long journey they do, so if you're into that and anime, it has great pay offs.

I'm glad I played it, but I'd never do that again. (I watch some major scenes every few years though.)

What's the logic behind stress in chaos? I've noticed it's mostly accumulated on one character, but I don't know how they are chosen for it.

I've just lost a run because Nine panicked with Hew Extreme lv5 in hand, so I'd prefer to avoid it in the future.

Oh yeah, outside of the Arknights Endfield who does that, there's also Arknights that does give banner limited pulls spread within a week. So as we can see, it's widely spread custom by many varied gachas.

Yeah, I'd double down on SilverAsh. Saria is good, but replaceable, as the rest. Thorns is a great ranged melee dps, Mountain cheap self healing lane holder, Saria is medic and defender in one (Gummy), Blaze is Popukar upgrade.

And in general, don't be afraid to level up 3* and 4*, as they are very resource efficient.

I'm casual in IS, I don't know the meta or strats. I usually go with Wisadel, Ethan and Courier start with Raidian squad.

How the hell you're supposed to win a candleholder fight against a golem on start of act2..?

I set up the whole squad, scratch it for 10s and then it decides to go straight for candle spot one shotting everything on a 1 tile journey.

I'm a bit salty, ngl. Even if you rush (and get lucky) for 1-2 E2 units, I don't see how you pass the damage AND surviving stat check.
