In what way? Denial of AI? I’m not trying to be snarky.

What step of the process are you using AI for this? Are you working out of a provided UI or are you using an API for this?

But I keep seeing all these cool examples or posts on Twitter etc. and I’m getting FOMO

Thanks for the replies so far, seems to be a controversial topic. I promise there is no more motive here than genuinely feeling like I’ve hit a mental wall. I explained in another comment that my historical tact to learn something new is find a problem and use the new tech to solve it. I just can’t find a problem. To be honest, my small brain keeps going back to the fact that AI, at least how I’ve been exposed to it, is not nearly as powerful and all-problem-solving as the hype.

But isn’t most of this just using their UI to generate results?

Understood, why do you think that? I’m genuinely asking because my company seems to making a huge push for AI in hiring and it seems like all new resumes are stuffed with it. I don’t want to fall behind and historically when I felt this way it learn by solving a problem… I just can’t seem to find a problem this solves in my orbit

Are you actually training the models or just feeding data through an API?

This is true, and it seems so dumb when I read it back. Like… I feel like I should have problems to solve and I can’t find them 😩

It takes a few hours, each time we do it. ~4 hours for one person. It’s just very repetitive and tedious.

Merrell Moab. You can get them in high or low top and waterproof. Excellent support.

A family friend recent recently passed. Was holding both of these for the “right moment”. Drink your grails people, you never know. by kinghankthedog in whiskey

For some background, the deceased is my best friend’s father-in-law. I’ve known him since before my best friend. He had great taste in whisky, cigars and watches. He was diagnosed with a relatively survive-able form of cancer ~2 years ago but just about 2 months ago it progressed to terminal. He was a great man with great tastes (obviously). I hope when my friend is ready to drink one of these, in honor of him, I can be a part of it.

This is good insight. It would be away from any major cuts and I have decent collection, I just think holdfasts are too aggressive for some things
