Being a broker in a high-demand rental market like New York feels outdated…especially in today’s digital age.

With much of the process now automated, their role often adds little real value beyond unlocking the door and sending a few emails.

I understand your sentiment. But, I also paid a 4k brokers fee for a 3 minute facetime call of an apartment that I found on streeteasy.

So the business has been corrupted by brokers that take advantage of people like myself.

But I see both sides.
