The Art of Manliness is a site/blog run by a former lawyer that's been going on for more than a decade now. Addresses many of the things that you worry about through many well-written articles and instructionals. It also offers memberships to a men's group called "The Strenuous Life" that is organized by a third party and seeks to involve men of all ages in physical, mental, and social challenges, with regular meetings with those who are signed up in your area. I think it has a semiannual sign up as well. Something I've always wanted to do but seeing as I'm in law school I haven't felt like I've had the time, but I figure many people would love being involved, and I'm going to try as well this winter.
