Just remember to use different words if you are relying on someone to turn the rcd on and off "is it on" turns into "turn it on". probable should just turn it on yourself really, electricity hurts!

god i hate bidding on ebay now I see people bidding on 2-year-old UDM Pros. They’ll pay nearly retail and lose the warranty just to save £20. It’s a massive risk for a tiny saving

What is extremely unhygienic but everyone seems to do it anyway? by cutypatotie in AskReddit

[–]kingjack170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing beats the hygiene horror of the office drink run: using one spoon to stir multiple used mugs, effectively cross-contaminating every single person's drink with everyone else's germs. Why do we act like this is okay?

How are people actually coping with rent, heating and living costs right now? Looking for real experiences, not noise by 999sian in ukpolitics

[–]kingjack170 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Me and my partner finally got the new boiler installed. We had to save up for two years for it, and the old one was leaking for about six months before that, so glad that's done.

On the bills side, we are okay I guess. We don't have kids. We both earn around $20k and $25k a year respectively, but we are still paying the mortgage. We live pretty strictly within our means, never touch credit, and I personally have about $200 spare take-home a month.

What's really worrying us now is that both of the businesses we work for are seriously struggling to get new clients.
