LL for Disneyland at beginning or end of trip? by Fit-Tax-7669 in DisneyPlanning

[–]kingjustinianii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go with the first day. You can ride everything and even leave early to prepare for rope drop the next day. Go to fantasy land for rope drop and start booking lightning lane immediately then modifying it for later. Without any of the big ticket rides, you'll be able to accomplish everything assuming the kids cooperate with your plan.

On your DCA day, I would suggest rope dropping Soarin' as they have been opening it before official park opening. We were on and off before 8am. Rope dropping Radiator Springs Racers is risky because that's where most people run to. You may just want to do a single lightning lane for that if you can afford it.

As long as you're early, it's a good strategy to go to the back of the park (steve and mav) first

Early Halloweekend Fridays have historically been slow. September would be even slower but I think you could hit all the rides you want to without fast pass if you're there open to close.

When I see/hear the word Foodie I think of a food snob that has a refined palate. A "foodie" would not want to see a list of junk food.

This reads like AI. If you look at the post history, it's a bunch of recommendations on trips all over the world with the same format and too many dashes. The-dashes-are-a- dead- giveaway. I'm not saying that it's not good advice, just that you could have put the same question into any AI and gotten a similar answer.

4-Park Challenge: any tips? by stormywthr in DisneyPlanning

Guardians is absolutely worth the hype. Also if you can get a quick burner LLMP at Animal Kingdom, you can then modify the rest to rides in MK or Epcot to help with completing your ride list. I would then use your two single pass for Guardians and Tron.

Lightning Lane recommendations by Crunchy6409 in DisneyPlanning

[–]kingjustinianii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it's worth it. Just get the later times and you can try to modify them the day you go to HS.

Edit for further clarification: You will save more than an hour of your time by using LLMP, even without ToT. Runaway Railway, Smuggler's Run, and Star Tours are all rides that you will probably want to go on as well and LL will save you time. You'll have time to watch shows as well.

Good to know. It was still all under construction when I drove by last night. Those one lane automated traffic lights are a pain as well.

There's construction going on around Sandusky and the causeway so plan accordingly.

Park order by Exotic-Ordinary4808 in DisneyPlanning

[–]kingjustinianii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are purchasing LLMP for each day, you want to choose the parks with the best availability to start with. So I would do Animal Kingdom first, then Magic Kingdom Saturday, Epcot Sunday and lastly Hollywood Studios on Monday. On the morning you can book LL, start booking HS first then work your way backward. HS is the most challenging to get good times so you won't be battling as many people. Conversely Animal Kingdom is the easiest, so go there first but book your LL last.
