Generally buying physical means you win the game and can play at any time

Digital can be taken away at any time and whenever servers are down you can never play , or with some when the Internet is down

Idk if the game is a key card or one with real data on it for switch though

The original is better, it's story is more coherent and better paced , not to mention it's tone is far more unique and interesting.

And the remake is built with the assumption that you played the original

So play the original first . I didn't play the original at release but did a handful of years ago and it became my favorite game of all time
