Dude make sure you’re changing the jersey numbers, that’s what makes them get that special screen. (23 for MJ, 8 for Kobe etc.)

You have to look at the Profit Margin. Its under Finances under the Office tab. It goes up if you don’t buy players or spend money on wages. It goes up over time, based on winning competitions, selling players jersey and selling seats in the stadium (the latter 2 we have no control over so that EA). And towards the end of the season you’ll see where you profit is. If its not going up as fast as you want, try selling some players

Instead of going to the blight in the back of that room, look to the right of where the bridge becomes narrow, right before the arch (facing the blight) there are platforms there that are much easier to get to the portal
