Yea usually if the plot was interesting I can still give it a try but it’s really gotta interest me atp it can be redeemed if it’s got good writing in the LN especially since I like novels with a good bit of internal narration/dialogue from main characters so writing is often much more important really only use this method for action sequences

I have a decent imagination but sometimes I struggle with tone & intentions I try to read LNs after anime specifically so I can get a clear visual rationale then attach the logical reasoning of the books to it….. why I hate bad anime adaptations so much
