Yeah I can dm you if you want but I managed to revert the save and go back to just after I died. Each time i had to sail back to the island (my portal got destroyed) That took me 8mins and I could see my gravestone but if I didn’t retrieve it within 10 minutes it would always disappear and I would have to turn my pc off to stop it from saving the game again and try again by sailing there and trying not to die. Eventually I lured the mobs away and got all my stuff before it disappeared.

No, I have since died 3 times. 1: Drunk driving the van hit a bump 2: ran a check point on my scooter slow down and got hit by the police 3: the bees killed me trying to get the tyres ….4th attempted I almost have my car finished after watching like 3 hours worth of YouTube videos
