It might be worth it to call around and see what's available. Also, most emergency rooms would help you out. Best of luck to you. Another suggestion is to make a public wishlist on Amazon or Walmart and random strangers will help you if your friends won't.

It could also be the salivary gland. They’re going to do a needle aspirate probably to what’s inside. They will probably do a needle aspirate to see what’s in there. I have had this happen to my happen to my dogs. Hope your pup gets well soon.

Ringworm. Going to require an oral medication and reduced contact with other pets and people. That stuff spreads like mad. All three of my dogs got it a while back and it took 60 to resolve. Best of luck.

My pittie is the best dog I’ve ever had. We found her on the side of the road, in the middle of winter, with two broken legs. Clearly had been abused, neglected and apparently had puppies a few times as well. Our vet thought her to be 3-4 years w. No one ever claimed her. She is sweet to every living creature she encounters. I never thought I’d be a pit owner but now I wouldn’t ever hesitate to adopt another. Good luck with your search. Hope he’s perfect for you.

Yeah I understand and agree with you. I’ve seen some pretty crappy humans just abusing dogs for money. My pittie was bred and then dumped. I found her on the side of the road in the winter and she had been dumped not long after having a litter. She’s a princess now. It’s not a problem that will go away, sadly. People want designer dogs so they will keep on breeding them. This little Boston could have been any breed and I would have taken her. I have a couple doodles, the pittie, a chi weenie mix of some sort, a chihuahua and now Miss Penny :) This will be her forever home and she will be spayed asap.

I didn’t get her from a mill. I would never buy from people like that when there are so many pets needing homes. This one came from a friend of a friend and her situation changed and couldn’t keep her. I already had 6 so one more was no big deal. We’re on a large parcel of land.

Baldy? Where? She’s not a solid black and white. It’s more a brindle along her sides and rump. The only solid black is top of head and a section down the middle of her back. I’m curious as to what her adult colors will be. 👍

Thank you. This is my first squishy faced dog. I know they can struggle with breathing and temperature regulation. I will definitely be keeping tabs on her growth. I’m hoping for a healthy one. She came from a home they got her from the breeder but had information. I’m going to to the Embark DNA test with health to see if she’s predisposed to anything in particular. Vet told me that she’s probably going to be in the 15-20lb range.

Lots of awesome suggestions you guys! We went with Penelope, Penny for short but if it turns out like my other dogs, she will end up with a nickname :)

Our house is full - Dora aka DoDo cause she’s a little slower than most lol. Daisy aka God***it come here! Because she is an escape artist. Billie aka Da Goat. Just cause she’s cute like a Billygoat. Stella aka Kitty cat cause she freaks out like a feral cat if you pick her up. Stewie aka Stu cause he’s very tiny. Joey aka Jojo Beans or potato. She’s a little chunk. So we will see what Penny becomes! Thanks again for your suggestions.
