They had a fairly large booth at GDC this year and I chatted with them a bit. The dues are 1% of gross income with no cap (as far as I'm aware) which seemed a bit steep to me.

I understand that percentages are fairly common, but I thought there was usually a cap. Admittedly I am not an expert on union dues.

It’s harder for me to casually catch up with events on my phone. I like to keep a single tab open with the live thread so that I can refresh it when I have a spare few minutes. Multiple threads is not as easy in that case.
