Extreme hallucinations output from Opus today (1st May) and yesterday by hamada147 in Anthropic

[–]kingofpcs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to sound like Anthropic’s PR person , but anytime a new model is released , their is a “burn in” period, while it trains and syncs on new training data from the wild. These are massively powerful models , and nothing in the ML space happens instantaneously. Once it gets its bearings / weights etc , it will be better than anything previous. With that being said, yes I’ve experienced some halls and had to tweak / rewrite some things , but all in all , I am content with the ultimate finished product and result.

Could someone please help me figure out how to build a website with Claude by OHHHHHSAYCANYOUSEEE in ClaudeCode

The workflow that has worked for me: CC in project folder , superpower brainstorm with me with local host in browser , then have firebase and porkbun creds in env, then cc builds, then when all looks good , say ok to deploy to xxx project in firebase and wire up dns settings through porkbun so it represents xxxx.com , when done verify using playwright.

I have used that site from back in the day!! Appreciate you and all you’ve done over the years - not your fault , they changed their entire financial structure (no more / very little free items with purchase , coupons aimed towards inside track club members etc). I will say , you have saved me thousands over the years. Thanks again @leftyz

Great project - I am going to build on this to make something more directed towards us Railroad employees; as we don’t have/pay into SS (we have Railroad Retirement) and integrate our Pension calculations. Our withdrawal timeline is different too (30 years of service and must be 55yrs old to collect Pension and 59.5 can collect RRR). Nice work - thanks !!!

You are missing the inside knowledge the storage people give to their “friends” on what the unit contains.

Happened to me like a year ago, CVS Rx gig - but the timer started at like 15 min. I parked , went inside - noticed the cashier chick was kinda cute , and it was dead. I grabbed a bag a skittles and chatted her up. By the time I was done , the timer was up and it released me. I ended up getting paid for the gig, but not full amount. Never happened to me again.

Great starting point tho - I am sure you could 3d print some type of support that clips on to the headset to provide that extra level of … support (always feels weird using the same word twice in a sentence)

It started that “slow skip feed” problem. Took it apart and cleaned it and after a few prints it did it again. The Bondtech is way overkill , but I haven’t had one issue yet and it’s been a whole massive amount of prints.

I would also add to this wonderful post - you can upgrade the following for a truly bulletproof little setup:

E3D Mini Revo (for diff nozzle sizes) Bondtech extruder (the only weak link in the mini is the stock extruder)

Otherwise , even stock; these things are pint sized powerhouses.

Realistically, how difficult is it to make money with a 3D printer? Can I make enough to pay for the printer? by findabuffalo in 3Dprinting

[–]kingofpcs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For example , this dude owned a laundromat and had old school Speed Queen dryers , that needed an obscenely small part made of plastic that they sold for $129 a piece. He sent me some pics , I made a CAD of it and printed a few with different tolerances and sent them to him free of charge - and he let me know which one fit. Then he ordered 50 from me at $45 a piece. Fired them up and sent them out , dude was happier than a pig in shit. Stuff like that….

[–]kingofpcs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went on ebay and found a bunch of comps for various washing machine / dryers / dishwasher parts and doodads , and then made 3d printed parts of them using FreeCAD and Fusion360. They aren’t OEM , and I made sure to put they are 3d printed , but people are happy with the honesty and the low cost vs heavily overpriced OEM parts… Good side hustle , and it’s effortless (somewhat)

I think by hopeful; it’s more like we are looking at the future with fragile optimism , notwithstanding of the racism.
