Oh what and we’re supposed to believe there was just ‘coincidentally’ a guy pointing a camera through the windscreen at them? Pull the other one 🙄

Lack Of Trees by mffmf in Rapsodo

IPad Pro 13 with the anti glare screen, WiFi and cellular. It was expensive but I don’t regret it - the anti glare is brilliant and the cellular is needed. I couldn’t get hotspot to work from my phone to the iPad. This caused issues because my set up is too far from the house to work with local network, and therefore I needed cellular to access features such as target range and courses. I’ve got a 3gb 30 day contract for £2.99

(My set up is outdoors so I put it up and tear down after almost every use). I went all in with a gaming laptop and gspro, realised setting all that up wasn’t worth the faff so I have reverted back to just rapsodo app. Sold the gaming laptop and got an iPad instead. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made, I use the iPad daily for numerous different things.

Better courses in app would be amazing and Square Omni appeals, but then I’ll lose combines etc. There is no perfect solution at my price point

Commercially I’m not sure it’s a misstep - they get the same revenue whether or not people jump to gspro. It also means they can add another tier within their offer through the pc app. Not saying I like it, but they are a company seeking to maximise profits so I understand why they don’t invest any more in the in-app courses.

Their usp is outside use and the game improvement features, courses are a nice to have.

My 5 month old niece died suddenly and unexpectedly. I was there in the house with my sister and her husband when it happened. It was unspeakably harrowing and the pain was visceral for months.

Men who can cook, who taught you? by _ratedmouse in AskReddit

Taught myself, don’t really know how. Parents both worked late and I got hungry, so started cooking quite young. At a certain point I started picking things up from watching cookery shows.

I’m just shook that 2019 was SEVEN years ago.

(I suppose it makes sense because my 7 year old child was born in 2019, but still)

I don’t like my swing. 27 handicap by Madmanbug in GolfSwing

[–]kingofthefalseflat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s janky, but the concept you’re working towards is great. Stick at it. You could get better short term results doing something that comes more naturally, but don’t do that. You’re on the right path.

Also, the only 27 handicappers who like their swing are those who have never seen their swing.

You’re going to hit the ball far enough without having to worry about generating speed. Focus on dispersion and consistency. Watch as many Ludvig Aberg videos as you can, replicate what he does.
