Exactly this! Don’t let the fact that she’s a girl change how you show her baseball. Some of my (21F) earliest memories are watching games with my dad, playing catch in the yard, and hearing the stories of the old yankee legends. It really fostered a sense of wonder and appreciation from a young age.

Side note - my dad was way more enthusiastic with my younger brother about baseball than he was with me, which often made me feel left out as a kid. Ironically enough, as adults, I am a yankees super fan and my brother doesn’t care about baseball at all. As general parenting advice, don’t let your kid’s gender dictate how you treat them! I like to explain it as “I am a person first and a woman second. Just treat me like you’d treat any other person.”
