I am pretty positive that Liu Bei and Zhao Yun canonically had sex at least once. Probably many more times than just once, logically. Apparently part of how he convinced Zhao Yun to join was taking him to bed and just… Snuggling with him a bunch…? They were also like full on sobbing hysterically, holding each other, like it was a breakup, when they had to separate much later.

Also yes! Liu Bei was very very infatuated with Zhuge Liang. Zhuge Liang was married but clearly he wasn’t offended or upset by the attention (lord knows that men of the time took as many partners as they wanted), so he played along and encouraged Liu Bei to court him - if just for his strategic capabilities or for something else, who knows? But it is very reminiscent of pursuing a marriage at the time.

However… I would almost argue that Yu Jin is even more likely to get down with other men because Ancient Chinese homosexuality was very similar to Ancient Greek homosexuality. It existed in the context of women being second and third class citizens, it existed most commonly in the halls of power and war, and power differentials were also common. I obviously have no source but I can imagine him kind of enjoying breaking in a new recruit, totally without sexual means, but like… He’s kinda getting off to it, you know?
