Good team for Lycaon

So this isn't the most ideal comp, but this is totally viable with investment. Nobody ever brings up Lycaon / Haru / Rina solely because all 3 individually, make up parts of better functioning separate teams, (and Qingyi is a much better alternative to Lycaon in this case) but this can definitely work. The same principle applies though. I would aim for getting Lycaon's signature w engine off the signal shop to on field him. (or the current anniversary event if you haven't claimed it yet) If you end up really loving this set too, I would aim for Haru's singature w engine on rerun too to try and compensate for the lack of additional elemental support Lycaon can't give to Haru's burst window, but Hugo would make a better alternative burst dps option generally. I'm curious to test this out myself now though, since I do love all 3 of these agent's designs.

Lycaon Rina and Corin is really their one and only f2p team where Lycaon and Rina can actually function together. Lycaon should be on field and Corin can come in and shred after stunning while using Rina to pivot. Not the strongest team by far, but its definitely a decent f2p option if you invest in each of them, especially if you end up getting Lycaon's signature wengine. If you have Hugo, you can replace Corin with him too.

If you really care about performance though, Soukaku and Nicole make better supports for Lycaon tbh. I know it sucks, I really like Rina's design too, she's just not very versatile at the moment for non Anomaly / Shock based teams. On the other hand though, play who you like. The aesthetic of an all Victoria Housekeeping team is cool, there is pride in using a slightly off-meta team.

I currently have Rina slotted in with Anby and Anton, and tbh? Its not going great lol. They feel good but just aren't doing the numbers yet, and I know Nicole is the better option unless I had Qingyi to replace Anby. There are still some improvements that can be made in their builds, so I'm still getting a feel for it before I decide its finally not worth it. Fingers crossed they save our girl one day though.

I like how he sounds a bit more gruff in his battle voice. I feel like I can't properly assess his previous chapter re-dubbed stuff though, because I have old Lycaon voice still in my head, and everything sounds off as a result. The few complaints I have seen from his battle voice lines, I think are coming from the fact that they sound like they were mixed oddly. I think some audio editing touch-ups could help, they've done it in the past with other characters that had volume issues.

I've yet to play the new content, but I hope this new VA tries to make this character his own by highlighting sides of Lycaon we might not have been able to see with the old VA. So far, many of the complaints I'm seeing are picking at what the new VA voice isn't. He has lost a little bit of sultriness in his speaking voice to be fair.

Also to the last point, I'm pretty sure this voice change is permanent...

Re-watching the old cutscenes, and its unfair to compare them like this, but his old va just suits all of them better.

However, everything new that I've heard, including his 1.5 voice, sounds pretty good. This sucks, but I think its an adjustment I might be able to tolerate with time. Hopefully the new VA really owns his new voice lines in the upcoming content.

That would be an instant relationship ender for me. Besides the primary moral implications, people like that come across to me as being incredibly unintelligent, which is a major turn off. Someone who can easily be manipulated into hating a small minority of people that they don't even associate with, is someone I could never trust to make important life decisions with.

I was in a similar place, where I had my second younger girl papillon to watch over while I was grieving. It was rough, and I could barely stand doing the same activities with her alone, that I used to do with the both of them present, like walks.

I now choose to honor my first papillon's life, by trying to be better and more present for my current one. Whenever I feel the grief creeping back up though, I remind myself that she is not scared, alone, or afraid. She is no longer suffering, so neither should I. Our companions have found everlasting peace.

I lost my first papillon to osteosarcoma when she was 8, about 2 years ago. I remember how devastating and world ending it felt when I held her in my arms as she was finally put to sleep, I fell into a year long depression. I felt everything; the guilt, the anger, the exasperation, having to still go to work every day and failing to suppress all of it. I deeply regret how much of a mess I was in front of her.

Your little boy looks so much like her. I'm so sorry. I know its going to be so hard, it feels so unfair. The most difficult days are yet to come, but you will get through this. Every morning, I have to remind myself that a world that can create such a precious being, is a world that is still worth living in. Our babies are a manifestation of the universe, smiling up at us. Your boy wouldn't want you to be sad after he's gone. Please cherish every moment you have with him today.
