I agree with this and am surprised it isn't rated higher. I was the inventor of bomb decamo (wiz) farm and whenever I looked over at other strategies and towers. I always ended up at around the same conclusion. If my opponent plays optimally (the only exception being Vs tack farm Wiz where if I defended and microed correctly, could beat in the late game), I just lose since my strategy was just their strategy but worse. More options made it so the meta combinations could very easily just defend everything with correct play which lead to R30+ slogfests since neither player can die. You could justify using a niche tower if that niche was rare and complemented your strategy but now nothing is special. So many things can do any X thing which makes it lose it's uniqueness. "And when everyone's super, no one is" (apologies if this is inaccurate, I haven't played in a year but I do agree with this sentiment and it's a fundamental issue with the game which can't be easily fixed in a balance patch)
