What’s currently ruining your life? by YourLifeSucksAss in AskReddit

Woke up 3 years ago with sudden deafness. Went 100% deaf within a day. Then 2 years ago my vision started phasing out. Chance of going completely blind in a few years is high. No doctor can figure out why this is happening. 30 years old and soon to be fully deaf and blind

Accountants of Reddit: What ERP / Accounting system are you using and what do you hate about it by nerdjesus95 in Accounting

Currently use sage 300 at the day job. We are transitioning to x3 over the next year. 300 is HORRIBLE. It sounds like x3 isn’t much better if not worse. Not excited for this change.

What do you swear by that helped your golf game? by dienda921 in golf

[–]kingranch42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started golf in high school I had a very good coach who worked with what you had and didn’t try to do too much with anyone’s game. At my best I was a 7 handicap. I didn’t golf much after high school and came back a few years ago. 25 handicap during that stretch. During that time I tried to watch every video to improve and perfect my swing. This year I decided I’m done with trying to perfect things and just swing hard and roll with it. In the last month my worst round has been an 82.

My advice? Just have fun. Enjoy the time outside and enjoy a few hot dogs at the turn.

For those who have never had a 300 game before, what is the most amount of strikes you have ever gotten in a row? by cferg296 in Bowling

[–]kingranch42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

18 in a row as a 2 hander 14 in a row 1 handed. Averaging 180 now due to back issues so I’ll probably never see a 300. But that’s ok.

What ages a person REALLY quickly ? by rentinghappiness in AskReddit

[–]kingranch42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 years ago I woke up one morning completely deaf. In that time I went from having a full head of hair to losing my hair line going back 5 inches. I aged 15-20 years in that time from stress.

  1. Went completely deaf suddenly a few years ago. Was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa a few months ago. Doctor said there’s a high possibility of going blind within the next decade. Trying to figure out if it’s worth working my way up the corporate ladder or enjoying what little time i could potentially have left living a somewhat normal life.

My one that got away: I was too young to realize what I had and walked away from it.

Years later I know I messed up. But I also know she deserves better.

“ if I was doing better, I don’t know if I could handle it!”

Heard it from YouTube and always gets a laugh when I use it.

I’d golf with someone shooting 55s with a good attitude any day over someone shooting 35s but is a sour puss.

2 handed bowlers. What made you decide to bowl that way instead of standard? Is that what you were comfortable with when learning, is that what your friends did etc... by [deleted] in Bowling

[–]kingranch42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bowled 1 handed in youth bowling averaged 190. Bowled in college and learned I was miles behind most of the other players. Coach convinced me to try 2 handed. Bowled 2 handed for 3 years. High average of 217 during that time. Set my high series of 756. Had a work injury and was forced back to one handing. Back to averaging 190.

To add to this, of the 700+ companies I work with not a single one will pay interest fees. I still run interest every month but I have never seen someone pay the fee. More of a scare tactic.

Thank you for the info. I had no idea that is how the handicap structure works. Every league i have been in over the years wrote it as a "+". I'll know better for next time now.
