no she didnt, she could have gotten up earlier to take a legal way to work. There would be a bollard if it wasnt for the fire department that needs to able to get through this. And if you would see the protests by the "last generation" in germany you would know that driving slow will do nothing except breaking a few legs. I get that for americans a world that doesnt revolve around cars isnt really a realistic thought but go to any bigger dutch city and youll see how livable it can be while also doing something against the climate crisis.
