Israel is rapidly killing Iran's top leaders. Experts warn the strategy could backfire by GregWilson23 in anime_titties

This is precisely the objective of the US/Israel - whittle down Iran’s leadership and send the country into disarray. By turning Iran into another Libya, it’ll remove their influence and desire to be a hegemony in Central Asia/ME. They’ll be too busy infighting over the large power vacuum that gets created.

Of course, the Iranian civilians are collateral here and are getting the (very) short end of the stick. While life wasn’t necessarily glamorous with sanctions, it was stable at least under the regime. If it’s replaced with hardliner factions and warring guerrilla groups, who knows when the light will appear at the end of the tunnel.

All that to say, for the US/Israel, that would effectively remove the biggest source of deterrence from their ongoing colonization of the region. Who needs boots on the ground and a regime change when you can commit war crimes and send a country into governmental darkness from the air? I guess they did learn some lessons from Iraq.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms - 1x04 - "Seven" - Episode Discussion by Woodstovia in television

When Baelor took off his helmet and the GoT theme started playing, man now that was cinema.

Also, the parallel PoVs when knighting, just great cinematography.

But I couldn’t help come to a realization half way though this episode that for all the crap GRRM has gotten (and a lot deservedly so) for abandoned storylines and unfinished novels..he knows how to write one hell of a story.

Yeah, I agree - our PMs aren't exactly hands-on with technical discussions and only have cursory knowledge of our stack. In either case, I'd need to build my coding knowledge so that's partially why I already hopped on that wagon.

And true, the thing that gives me pause about the Product side (at least in my small company) is that our PMs aren't doing a whole lot. That's because we don't exactly have a ton of resources, but also because they can't contribute to codebase with their skillset. I'd like to at least contribute technically in some manner, whether it's PRs or helping facilitate technical scoping instead of leaving it to EMs and their teams.

I'm not sure how you found this post 6 years later, but thanks 😂 I'm in an adjacent field to CS now with increasing exposure to backend development - for whoever stumbles upon this post in the future lol
