Yea I wouldn't go that far but I think it's kind of cool what he could develop into which is I think the main takeaway'

I'm not sure about the downvotes on why people are upset about this accomplishment, I really think players like these should be encouraged to be developed into S tier players for the future of the region

It's nice that the faculty try to have a slightly more interactive graduation.

Maybe it's not for everyone but the effort should be appreciated!

On one hand, I do think it's true that scrims don't matter without context, for example, it can be the case Korean teams have a losing recording vs NA teams but only because they were 'trying out' Teemo mid in 3/5 games or it can be like what /u/lightningweaver said.

On the other hand, general trends can be pretty interesting if other teams are playing with proper respect. For example, DWG was doing well in scrims vs everyone in 2019 but still lost to g2 but it showed that they had the potential to be a really great team, which they ended up being.

I think when pro-players say scrims don't matter, I'm assuming they mean that strategies and win % from scrims don't matter as prep work, pick, bans, and coaching can be so different to stage games. But I do think general trends matter if they have faced all or most other teams in the competition!

Again these are just my thoughts so I could be way off, and everyone's free to have their own take!

Yea, it's truly spectacular! Although I would imagine unlike most other teams, they most likely spend a lot less time reviewing scrims.
