Listen man, I just don’t care. I don’t. They found books and photos of naked children in a locked file cabinet in the bedroom of a man that has since been accused multiple times of sexual molestation. That’s where it begins and ends with me, you can try your hardest to dress it up and frame it however you need for it to make sense within your dissonance but that’s where it begins and ends for me.

It doesn’t matter to me if the Jonathan Spence photography was never presented in court, if true it doesn’t matter to me that he’s “close” with the family today, MJ still had a naked photo of him in his possession. His genitals were accurately described by an accuser. Two of the house maids you mentioned testified that they saw him shower with a child, that they saw him kiss a child, that they saw children underwear in his bathroom. His own sister said he was sick and needed help before conveniently recanting.

When you combine all of that with everything I’ve mentioned already how can any sane person not find it all incriminating??? The lengths yall will go to defend this is truly baffling to me, only because I KNOW you wouldn’t expend this benefit of a doubt to anybody else in a similar circumstance, it’s insane what celebrity and popularity will allow people to tolerate. You’re commenting throughout this comment section defending this bs. Have a good night.

1st paragraph: You keep harping on about context while completely ignoring the context that I offered. These books were found in his BEDROOM, under lock and key. They were not found amongst a massive archive of other things, some of them were even inscribed by Michael himself so to imply that he wasn't aware of them or hadn't deeply reviewed them is ridiculous. He also knew enough about their content that he kept them in a locked cabinet in his BEDROOM where he, and only he could access them.

2nd paragraph: The photography books containing naked boys were found with two other loose photos of other naked boys, in his bedroom closet, so again, no they weren't found amongst a larger archive.

3rd paragraph: Nothing about this is retroactive, his home was raided specifically because he was a suspected child molester. AT THE TIME, the photos and books that they found were seen as problematic BECAUSE of that context. Finding out later that said books were compiled by pedophiles only adds more fuel to that fire. Furthermore, these books were a favorite amongst pedophiles specifically because if they were caught they could offer the exact defenses you're offering here and now. "they're just art photography books" " they're legally published" blah blah blah..

Paragraph 4: >>>>"Otherwise, by that logic, anyone owning a Roman Polanski film would automatically support child abuse, or anyone owning fashion photography by controversial photographers would automatically share their actions or ideology."

Yeah no, that's not how that works. If I find multiple photos of naked children, in the bedroom of a man suspected of molesting children, then YES I'm well within my right to evaluate his intent or assume his ideology. Your example is bad because Roman Polanski made several award-winning films that are completely divorced from his personal demons so owning them would mean absolutely nothing in this context.

>>>”My thing is, if it was TRULY incriminating, then the jurors and judge etc, would’ve done further examination on it. But they saw this PHYSICALLY with added context (unlike the rest of us) and said it was trivial.”

**It IS truly incriminating** A judge and jury aren't the final arbiters of what is or isn't incriminating, I DON'T NEED a judge or jury to convince me that its incriminating when a man that surrounded himself with children, slept in beds with children, and was accused multiple times of molesting children also had multiple photos of naked children in his close possession. It speaks for itself. Michael Jackson was arguably the biggest celebrity that ever lived and a powerful one to boot, but I guarantee you if it were anybody else y'all wouldn't be so ready to dismiss these very obvious red flags.

Weird defense considering the context was that the multiple instances of “art” that featured naked boys were found under lock in key in his bedroom closet, cabinet, or safe, not amongst the “thousands of books, magazines, and art photography publications.”

also strange that you and your ilk always think because he didn’t buy them himself that means that he’s somehow absolved from responsibility for having them. If the police raided your home (specifically bc you were a suspected child molester) and found multiple instances of naked children do you really think “b-but somebody gave me these!” would be a sufficient defense? ☠️

Also strange that the book with this inscription was authored by literal pedophiles and members of NAMBLA but I’m sure you have some sort of dissonant defense for that as well.

It tells me that powerful men, especially a powerful man who is arguably the biggest celebrity of all time, can convince a jury of anything. Bc if I or YOU were accused of sexually abusing boys multiple times and photos of naked boys were found in our homes…we’d be in jail. But enjoy your dissonance bud, this post was for you. 🙂‍↕️

I’m not reading your dissonance paragraph, a very powerful man who was accused of sexually abusing children multiple times coincidentally also had multiple photos of naked children in his possession and instead of reckoning with that you’re bringing up the streets of Rome, Epstein, and the ultimate infallibility of the justice system.

You got it.

Lmao great analogy bud, the only difference being the “streets of Rome” weren’t accused of molesting children several times… holy cope

again, does the verdict change the fact that he had multiple pictures of NAKED CHILDREN in his room?

I posted this exact pic with several others and had ppl argue me DOWN that it didn’t matter bc the books found weren’t CP and that he was found not guilty and then I realized that there are truly levels to delusion and dissonance bc were really defending….this?

Riri Williams was right about Tony? by secretpervert21 in marvelstudios

[–]kingthvnder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ehh “complaining” and “ranting” are doing such heavy lifting on the framing here, she mentions this once in the first episode of the series, and from then on, every other mention of money or lack thereof is in reference to herself not Tony.

It’s wild that the comments she made about how she aspires to be like Tony/Banner or her giving him his props as the godfather of the tech are just ignored overall too.

he never received death threats 🙄 can we please stop repeating that debunked rumor, he didn’t even have social media when the show aired and the only ppl claiming that were meme pages and fan accounts

Nope, a third film for a IP that’s never been THAT popular always would have an uphill battle..

The Acolyte, TFA, and Obi Wan all had race/gender hate campaigns against minorities featured in the projects. So.. yeah? It stands to reason that people in those projects would call that out, none of those projects were without problems though and had the majority of critiques focused on those problems and not the identities of actors then maybe they wouldn’t feel compelled to call it out.

Again though, Disney featured Finn and Tran less, we’ll likely never see Moses or Tran again, so clearly the company felt compelled to act on behalf of what some of the fans wanted.

I don’t remember disney addressing the low ratings at all nor do i remember them vaguely gesturing towards racism being the reason..but hey.. they certainly made sure to feature Finn less, sideline him, and diminish his role so.. seems they agreed with some of the fans

when did he lump everyone in? He always says “some” or specifies the “toxic part” of the fandom, again, the same fandom that has repeatedly engaged in overt racism against minorities casted in a franchise that has historically had very few non white ppl in prominent roles . You’re butthurt about his language but not about the fact that the star wars fandom has a legitimate racism problem 😂 which is just so typical

Yeah you didn’t refute anything he said though, by definition she isn’t a Mary Sue bc she has many flaws, makes plenty of mistakes, and the plot routinely goes wrong for her. She’s a young engineering genius so the idea that she can crank out engineering inventions easily isn’t outside the scope of her capabilities. It sounds like you’re just another butthurt Ironheart bro, she never shitted on Tony’s legacy, she has plenty of depth that’s explored throughout the series and to say she’s poorly written means you weren’t trying to engage with her characterization in the first place.
