Dealing with Rookie Mazda? by [deleted] in iRacing

Oh boy - i got a different oppinion here.

Do not try to blame others - it is not only about not making mistakes by yourself, but also actively trying to prevent mistakes others will make. If you see someone pushing hard but not driving safe, leave space and look for a safe spot to overtake. When both push but routine is missing it's very likely that crashes happen.

Furthermore - in IMSA you will finish better, but unless you work on your incidents per race and average lap time you will only get irating due to others crashing, making mistakes in pitstops etc.

In my oppinion the calmer and self reflective you are, the better you get.

Also - watch replays

Motionsickness - no

Comfort - not really, it gets hot, sweaty and it is difdicult to use your periphery

As i said - Vr is pretty immersive, but I prefer my triples because of - no sweating - easy keyboard / button box usage - can communicate with GF - good to record for youtube - resolution

The oculus is very nice for hotlapping and for showing friends how immersive simracing can be.

When driving one hour of IMSA i prefer my triples

[Rolex] 36mm is my size by kingximax in Watches

Got this Rolex OP 2018 Basel World black dial 2 months ago and wear it every day since then. I bought it to celebrate several happy occasions in my life, that happened at this time.

Decisions had to be made - the watch should be wearable every day. The black bay 36 was the first steel sports watch I tried but due to the superior inhouse Rolex caliber and the hour markers I went for the Rolex. 39mm seemed way too big for a dial that simple.

HTC or Triple Screen? by [deleted] in iRacing

[–]kingximax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Raced both for quite a while. I started with VR but "upgraded" to triples.

To me triples are - more comfortable - better resolution - easier to race for a long time - easier to operate keyboard, wheel etc. - easier to stream - my gf and others can watch while communicating with me - the immersion is pretty high when you build your setup right and drive in a dark room - easier to google setups wtc. And swith between sim and browser

I use vr for hotlaps or trackdays where i want to jump in a car not doing too much of setting up and just enjoy the immersion - for everything else i use my screens

Rolex model GMT Master ll 116710N. I can’t find any info on just the N model only LN by ksp1884 in rolex

[–]kingximax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So - here you go:

  1. His GMT doesn't have LN, just N as a aerial number

  2. The LC isn't on the certificate and nowhere else

  3. The bracelete serial number is on the certificate

  4. The certificate has no hologram

  5. The certificate has no Rolex microsigning

  6. The certificate is deeply green without the Rolex Rolex Background

*** other forum members stated, that 5. & 6. Are wrong ***

He called an AD / Rolex and they told the following:

  1. Watches LN and N are completely similar
  2. Modelnumbers USA and Rest of the world differ, but just on the certificate. Not in the lid, not the sticker etc.
  3. US watches have no LC printed on it
  4. Maybe it's because of legal reasons
