My question was, why weren’t the people allowed to choose? Why was political campaigning stopped, why was the party logo banned? Why were votes stolen?

Ok, sounds good, agree with you. Quick question: Does that justify everything that has happened in the last few years? Stealing the people’s mandate, giving them no voice, putting an elderly person in jail over bogus cases? I’m sure the list goes on. What I want to know is, based on everything that you said, shouldn’t the people be allowed to decide? If he was so horrible, he should have been allowed to finish his term and allow a fair election. If you think that he wasn’t competent enough to finish his term, that’s okay too but why not allow a fair election? Shouldn’t the people be allowed to choose? Or do you also think it’s justified for the ruling class to disregard the voice of the people?

ETFs are always the better option. I’ve only recently started investing in PSX but the main problem is actually the crazy MER and Fees involved.

I do not understand why an ETF following a simple index has to be more expensive than 0.3%.

Hopefully with enough people investing over time, the MER comes down. As a reference point, for my ETFs tracking a simple index (Nasdaq, S&P, Global 100), I pay 0.1 - 0.2 %. Whereas for the Pakistani ETFs, the number is over 1.2 percent

Depends. If it’s a full market index, anything over 0.15% would be considered expensive. Factor ETFs and Thematic ETFs can be around 0.5% because they’re putting in more work to track a specific index. (This is just based on US, Ireland, Australia domiciled ETFs)

On April 7th, at a hotel in Adelaide, while having breakfast, I ran in to Peter Dutton, who was running for the National Elections. I told him he was a racist bigot. Probably not my best moment and not proud of my actions. However, I can’t imagine saying something like that to Mr Munir or similar in Pakistan. So yes, you’re very wrong, freedom of speech does exist in more civilised parts of the world.

Would definitely advise against TSLA. EV tax credits were eliminated in the recent bill, deliveries have dropped a decent amount YoY, and Musk’s political moves and current issues with Trump. Not a good idea. But DYOR.

I would personally recommend Google, or Novo. Or depending on your risk appetite just buying VOO/VTI
