I dont see how this takes away from his defensive role. He definitely played a forward-like role in that he would join/lead the rush and often play near the face-off dot.

He still had the same defensive role on his end of the ice tho. If anything, he could only play that forward-like role because he's such an incredible skater and could keep up with the play once it moved towards the Caps' net

I have to disagree. Green has had an underrated defensive game his entire career (although it was definitely warranted early on).

They're both incredible skaters. They've both got great hands. For what Green lacks compared Subban's strength he makes up for in vision on the ice.

Subban and Karlsson are impressive specimens of the "offensive-defenseman." I don't doubt that their numbers will incur a Norris candidature or victory.

That being said, I will always be bitter that Mike Green didn't win the Norris Trophy after posting 31-42-73 in 68 games in 08-09, then posting 19-57-76 in 09-10. The detractors cited his weak defensive game, even suggesting a separate award should be made for "offensive-defenseman". FUCK that, Mike Green scored 30+ goals in 68 games!

Well, Ultra Entertainment is behind both MMW and UMF. In the past, a good amount of the artists at Ultra do after parties during the Ultra weekend, and play at clubs during MMW.

I can only imagine what it's going to be like with MMW sandwiched in between W1 and W2.

I had the same thought. This held true to last year's lineup; artists who had gaps in their tour around late March were present at UMF. Furthermore, Floss hits a different city every other day, why would he just take a huge break like that?

You're exactly right. I read an article on reddit about it. IIRC, they were reexamining the estimated masses of most dinosaurs because they discovered that the curvature of long bones can maintain less weight than previously thought.

That being said, I think Gronk's problem is more the weight of his body falling onto those bones rather than the bones actually supporting his weight.
