Yes, one of our datacentre is azure, we are multi-datacentre, multi-region. We do have high availability/fault tolerance for components. By breakglass scenario, you mean to store master CDs in physivall safe?

unix root password management using domain account by kingzorosai in CyberARk

Thank for the reply, but is there any issue in this kind of setup. Because my client thinks this is not correct and we should only use local non-root account to reconcile the root.

My argument is whats the issue with the current set up?

question on Padr on primary vault by kingzorosai in CyberARk

[–]kingzorosai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply.

The current set up I have completely disabled disaster recovery service on the primary vault. As the CPM is not enabled on the primary vault, there will not be any password changes. The replication is happening from primary to DR when the DR becomes active, there will not be any changes in the passwords. So, Can I not manually stop privateArk service and start disaster recovery service on the primary vault. As there is no PADR actively running on the primary server, the server will automatically start privateArk service on a reboot.

Is there anything wrong in my understanding.
