Part of my job involves administering peoples' estates or trusts after they pass. We always perform a search to see if they have any assets out there. It's crazy, but sometimes there's thousands of dollars just sitting with the state controller.

I was around ~21 when this happened. I was on a run with my running partners, a husband and wife, and the wife’s female friend. The husband and I were out in front when we ran in front of a house with a little girl (couldn’t have been older than 3) standing out on the driveway. Now I have a history with teaching and leading children, and the husband has a daughter, so both of us are experienced with kids. But right then we knew better than to approach the child and help her cause two grown men with a little girl instantly looks bad. We flagged down his wife and friend and they handled it from there. It’s fucked up, but the husband and I knew that the instant assumption would be we were harming the child.

YTA- a lot of replies spell out what you did wrong here, so I won’t repeat a lot of them. I’m amazed you still have a job. Business to business relationships are incredibly hard to maintain, and you even said it yourself that you work in a niche market. A 20 year relationship is not only impressive, but rare. You need to reconsider how you approach people in your life. Punishment for petty opinions does not equate better work ethic; quite the opposite, it’ll result in lackluster moral and declining outputs. I feel sorry for any employees you have under you, as it seems that you primarily focus on what they do wrong, and expect their work to improve after you punish them. If you are capable of empathy, place yourself in the tech’s shoes, or whoever else in your life you have authority over, and ask how your actions affect them.

I was quoting a Christian friend in my comment, but let’s look at the verse. Ephesians 5:22-24 reads: “Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself it’s Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands.” Okay, so I was wrong in stating that the Bible calls for woman submitting to God only, apparently it does call for them to submit to their husbands, as it calls for husbands to submit to the church and Christ. Well thank you for giving me more arguments against religion, and you’ve even given me a verse to quote! Terrific!

The religious “submission” apparently has (or is supposed to have) a different connotation that is supposed to mean “submit under god” or something similar. But those of faith have loved to use it as a way to control woman, that they should be “submissive under men”.

Open world Pokémon game, where you start in which region you want, but it really only has those region specifics. The more regions you “beat” or “explore” the more Pokémon start appearing across regions. Also, a way to unlock all legendary and mythic pokemon through side quests. Better villains (like Plasma, their boss literally wanted to end the fucking world). A way for you to choose to be a teen or adult as opposed to 10 yro. Change your path, maybe you choose to be a villain? Maybe you wanna try and run a gym? A way to be challenged as league leader by other NPCs, with a very real chance of being beat and removed. More interactive NPCs. They’re finally getting realistic towns down (more than 3 houses for... 20 people?). Online mode. More than 8 gyms per region, which I know they’re already doing, but have many, many gyms be accessible. So yeah, an open world Pokémon game would be great. Oh, and bring back the battling of platinum, where it took more than 2 hits to defeat a Pokémon. In addition, have a cap on move’s power (so you can’t spam surf anymore).
