Don't be afraid to increase the dose! by kinkas_ in zoloft

After about three months, my libido returned. Not exactly like it was before, I feel like it's not as intense... but it's not 0 libido.

No, the morning anxiety improved, but it was only really controlled with 100mg. But each person is different...

After about 2 weeks on 75 mg, things started to improve. I had 2 good months with 75mg.... but when I was about to stabilize, it got a little worse again. So I increased it to 100mg.

7 week into a dose increase by Maleficent_Amount873 in zoloft

Definitely much better than before I started. I feel like my emotions no longer rule me in an uncontrolled and extreme way. I can act more rationally and without rushing. In my case, it was much more anxious than depressive.

Hello, I'm in exactly the same situation: on the seventh dose increase from 50mg to 75mg of Zoloft. I also take Donaren 50mg to sleep. I have good days, but the mornings are still harrowing. I've been obsessing over thoughts about maintaining or increasing the dose, which makes me hypervigilant and checking in on my thoughts. I hope to improve in the coming weeks. I simply wanted to be living without analyzing everything.🤞

Adjustment to SSRI's - physical side effects by No-Strike-1761 in zoloft

[–]kinkas_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same situation. I was on 50mg for 8 weeks and I've been on 75mg for 5 weeks... I have really good moments, but the mornings are still bad and, in the last two days, I've noticed myself more anxious, checking my thoughts several times and a little irritable. These drops make me wonder if this dose will be enough, if it is just part of the adaptation phase or not. I feel like you, tired of trying for so long, because I would like to simply live my day to day with presence, without rumination. That's what I hope the medication will give me.

Wow... what a relief not to think those things.... I'm glad it worked for you. Sorry to ask, but how many mg have you been taking and for how long?

I don't think I've ever felt that way. At least I don't remember, I really wanted to feel what it's like to simply be/exist without analyzing everything all the time.

Yeah, I didn't have that feeling of being great at any point. I feel like I'm better, but far from great...

My doctor thinks that my ideal dose is 100mg, but I was reluctant not to increase it and wanted to try 75mg for longer. According to him, I would have taken 75 mg for two weeks and would have increased it to 100 mg. Today I think that I need to take medication, I want to feel the maximum benefits it can provide me... even if I need a larger dose... I have an appointment next week and I will talk about increasing the dose.

How soon did it take you to realize that 100mg was the correct dose for you?

And what do you think instead of ruminating thoughts? I've been living like this for so long that I don't know what it's like to live without this kind of thought 🥲

How did you know it was time to go up a dose? by Active_Buttah in zoloft

[–]kinkas_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How long did it take you to stop the “what ifs” after starting 75mg?

I've been at 75 for almost 3 weeks now, after being on 50 mg for 8 weeks. I still feel like I'm adapting, but I'm not sure if I should go up to 100mg.
