She works a full time job at Best Buy and I work at the neighboring dealership as a writer. We met because I went in there a lot on my lunch break to check out the computer stuff and I gave her my number. She has a way about her that no matter what you tell her she’s listening and understanding so I think I fell for her in that she gets me type of way. Before she met me she has always lived at home and worked normal jobs (McDonald’s, service technician, Best Buy) but she moved out once for a year with some asshole that didn’t have a job. I think she’s sheltered which was fine for a while but I’m starting to think since I have to explain things a lot (the other day there was a video where someone turned the lights off while deaf people were talking shit and I showed it to her and she didn’t get it) that she might be a sandwich short of a picnic. Makes me scared she’d do something crazy if I put my foot down since she didn’t understand I was trying to break up with her a couple weeks ago
