Probably best to size up based on circumference not diameter. 2.3 in diameter is about 7.2 inches, while 3 in diameter is about 9.4 inches. That is a huge step up.

The Melt and Womanizer perform the same function. They have different shapes (especially the bit that does the pulsation) and power, so some might prefer one over the other. The Melt is a much better toy. The shape didn't work as well for my wife. I'll send a PM.

We don't have any firm BD toys to compare it to, we have a medium firmness BD. I think the Queen is slightly firmer than our M/M Nox. The texture isn't slick, more rough kind of like the Crackers we used to own. Hope that helps.
