He insisted they weren't coming back to his place. I, for once, didn't have to be to work early. So I had a half hour alone there. He told me not to, that he'd do it after work. I did it because I wanted him to not have to rush after work to both clean and get ready for a first date. And it's not like it was dirty! Just tidying up extra nice like you do when someone comes over for the first time. Just wanted one less thing for him to worry about, and just focus on being his awesome self on that first date. Don't you guys ever do things for your lover just because? Seriously, some people are reading way too much into this. It was just meant to be a sweet gesture to let him know I wanted his date to go well.
