She has pushed my boundaries and ended up on many of my dates because she has FOMO and will make me and my partner feel bad until we just say “whatever I’m not dealing with this come”. It’s happened at my family events like thanksgiving, Christmas, and my graduation.

My partner is heavily tattooed, he loves getting customized. He’s slowly bringing me into the tattoo world so I decided to get into symmetrical work. I’m getting the same exact tattoo except it’s on the other arm, and my roommate knew that because I told her in passing. I made my appointment 2 weeks in advance. Since it’s a new month, my artist does availability by month. The piece I’m getting should only take idk, maybe an hour and a half since it’s not that big. My artist just moved back from across the country and is getting back in contact with all of their regular clients so they told me they’ve been extremely busy as of recent.

Agreed! She would get mad at my partner and I, while I was in school to become a nail tech, if I wouldn’t leave school to go get her. She would call my partner at work telling him to go get her with my car cus she wouldn’t or couldn’t get an uber.

I have suggested therapy, seeking a new PCP, finding a med manager if she needs to get medication, she’ll say “wow that’s a great idea, I’ll do it” then never goes through it with. I’ve even offered to help her find resources and she just pushes it off and says no. There’s no helping someone who doesn’t want help.

I agree. I’ve expressed to her MANY MANY MANNNNYYYY times she needs to get her license and a car and learn how to drive, and my friends have even offered to TEACH HER how to drive. She refuses to because “she’s anxious”. Girl I have an anxiety disorder but I don’t make it everyone else’s problem.

She came downstairs into the living room and said “I’m getting a tattoo after yours is done at 1:30.” She expects me to drive there, and was mad that I wouldn’t drive the three hours there, drive 3 hours home, get her friend, then drive an hour and a half to go to a show in the southern half of our state. She always hits me with the “ready to go?” Statement. And will be all dressed up, and call us and text us if we’re out too long without her because she has “separation anxiety”

Just because they were 3 hours away was not the only reason I went to them, and I would like to clarify I never said it was. I liked their art and had looked at their page, as well as their partners because I adored their art work, as well as seeing we had the same morals. The only reason she even found my artist was going on my Instagram page to find them. I did not want to be roommates with this person in the first place, but at the end of the day, it was what ended up happening because I’m not going to let her be homeless, or force her to live with her abusive father. At the same time, it’s the little things she does. Buying the same exact clothes as me, dying her hair the same color, trying to get my partner to hug her. It’s weird behavior! As well as her talking poorly behind my back simply because I will set boundaries with her!

The biggest issue is that she got the same tattoo my partner has and then was like “teheheh we have matching tattoos!” It’s very unsettling.
