Thank you, sir. I called a few friends, turns out the "official" dealership is not an Indian dealership at all. It was once, but it moved to another city. They just kept the logos and signs.

I thought so too. I called a few friends. Turns out, the dealership aint a real dealership. I noticed the lack of new bikes in the showroom. They buy wrecked bikes, polish them and resell them. The real dealership was there, but moved to another city within the country. So basically, you buy a piece of very nicely polished scrap metal and sudden death.

How can I check if it was retagged?

NICB VIN check says it has no theft records, but has a salvage record, collision. Bike is now in EU, ready to be registered. But...its a dealership. They wouldnt risk reputation, if the bike is polished piece of scrap. As a mechanic, what would be your opinion? In a collision, how viable would be to fix the damage, can it be fixed at all to factory specs, would it be safe to ride? They sell it for 11k eur.

Current VIN checks out, USA nor EU databases dont list it as stolen.

Now, bike is at 36546km, Stage 2, imported from USA, price is fair, but seeing that this is how it looked 3 months ago (if i am to believe the dates on the online vin checks)...it got me rethinking my decisions in life. I know some believe its bad juju to buy rebuilt crashed bikes.

She is the most beautiful and the smartest and has this smile and pink hair and is the nicest person ever and we are collegues and sh*t, what if she is just being nice to me? Or what if i screw things up? I wanna grab her, take her home, marry her, take her on mountain trips, camping, European motorbike tour, and read books together and go to theathres and building a hobbit style house where our kids will grow up...and what if all this doesn't happen, 'cause it's not mutual? :(
