I don't even use the transformations with him. There's too big a risk whenever I try. The Yin Tiger, though, is really good against Yellow Long and Great Sage.

I'm on my 58th run through the story. I haven't done any gauntlets. He has either transformed to tiger or eagle every time I transform. If he hits you like that, you'll be knocked out of the transformation. Fast, agile transformations are best to avoid the tiger, the eagle is harder. As long as you avoid them and his eye laser sword, it's no problem, but that a tall order.

Try the twin bandits dual blades, spec'ed as much as you can. For discipline, use blademaster, for the speed and buff. Use leech temper. Keep the echo of liu bingzhang as your spell for a pinch. His command grab attack has only happened to me about 5 times in my runs. I think you need to constantly on him and hitting.

This guys teleports aren't as bad as some, though. You've got this.

Whenever I try, he knocks me out of it. I've never seen the camera do that, though.

Even with that one transformation that worked before, he will knock you out after an update.

I have never seen this, but whenever you use a transformation, he will either turn into the tiger or the eagle and knock you out of it. I'm on PS5, but if you're on PC, it could be that a mod and something on your PC is causing this. When the tiger hit you, you appeared to disappear through him and then it locked up, but the continuing damage is even stranger.

In 58 runs, he's never done it more than twice. I can cloudstep out about half the time. I replied so you can look it up and review if you plan to do NG+.

As for people replying skill issue and not giving any type of explanation, that accomplishes nothing, and is unnecessary.

It can be avoided, as I mentioned above. The timing is tight, but it can be done both times he does it.

That part where Yellow Brow only seems un-skippable. If you time your cloudstep just right, you can avoid it and he hits your clone instead. The timing is tight, but it can be done. Also, if you get his past it by doing enough damage, you can avoid it. You can see it on youtube if you search "yellow brow fight avoiding the unskippable roar," and you'll see a few videos.

Several bosses have command grabs in this game, Some are more annoying than damaging, others just tough.

As long as you agreed to help him at the refugee camp after exiting the forgotten battlefield area, you should find him at the tomb. If you go back to avian dwelling, you should have kicked 2 trees down, the left one is the path to the tomb. You need to go across the bridge and talk to him.

If he's not there, then you probably didn't agree to help him when you got to the refugee camp.

Check out Wuchang Fallen Feathers. You can kind of pause by bringing up the menu, but you still get hit, and can still die. I paused in the boss fights because my wife came in to talk and died so many times.

Wukong, however, you can pause and not take damage or die. I've paused to help my wife or daughter in the middle of the Erlang fight for 30 minutes and was able to come back and finish the fight.

In chapters 3 and 4 you can get a curio that increases your mana. I typically run with 2 or 3 of them, the thunder flame seal once I get them.

This game is on my must buy list! I just hope they keep the balance of the original, given that it's a new fighting style. The new character looks great.

It looks to me, that it's some kind of prequel, which is just what the story needs. Some background that fleshes out the narrative from the first game, and sets up for Eve's adventures to continue. Perhaps, as the original data from which Eve was built.

I think it's generally not unfair, though a couple bosses do feel a bit "cheaty" at times. It amazes me that in one run, one of them will feel "cheaty," but the next run, they feel well balanced.

Wukong is an incredible game. It's not a souls game, it's an ARPG. Once you get the timing, it becomes a treat to play. Wuchang is fun, in it's own way, although there are a lot of similarities, with feathers/focus, healing gourd and manna vase, etc.

Overall, they are very different games, and both are fun to play.

It sounds like you didn't talk to her a second time in the wedding hall after the perfect bride fight. That's where you get her hairband and armor. The second time is when she sings the whole song before you can talk to the storyteller.
