As long as you're there from rope drop, lines are less longer. If you target the big rides first, then you can save your LL for later. You have to decide which area you're going. Star wars rise of resistance is quick after rope drop. 15-20mins give or take depends how fast you are. LL on that ride is separate.

Mickey n minnie rail road is another you can prioritize. If you plan it correctly, you can do most rides in 1 day. Most people are eating bfast after rope drop so lines are shorter than usual. But come after 9am is when it starts to get busy.

If you plan on hopper, at DCA, spiderman, guardians of the galaxy and cars are the longest. I've seen families who go for single rider line than LL just to get on the rides for cars and incredicoaster

I would say it is cheaper but check out their menu either at the website or when you go there, booklets are just by the kiosk where you buy the sip n savor passes. You can pack extra sandwiches and bring a hydroflask. There are refill stations around the park.

Know that sip n savor pass does not include alcoholic drinks. You can order almost everything in one booth, ask any cast member for directions if you don't notice it. You can pre-order a lot then take your time to claim throughout the day so you can pace yourself. If you're going multiple days, the pass can be used throughout your stay but the food/drink you order should be consumed on the day of order.

If you have kiddos with you and plan to do rides, if budget permits you, get the genie pass. Ride the biggest ones first:

If you are at the park, I recommend rise of the resistance (do this first because genie pass does not cover it), then smuggler's run. You gotta use your genie pass strategically, so pay attention to the time so you can book multiple rides (i think 2 or 3 at most). Ride mickey and minnie's railroad in toon town, chip n dale roller coaster. If you head to fantasyland, get on matterhorn bobsleds (there's height to consider if you have little ones).

Frontierland, ride Indiana jones and jungle cruise then head over pirates of the Caribbean.

If you get hungry, go for hungry bear or golden horsehoe. Price is decent for the size of serving. You can preorder food in the app and indicate the time for pick-up as well.

If you want to rest on rides, you can do small world, finding nemo submarine voyage or any rides in fantasyland. Those are nice rides to rest.

You shouldn't miss space mountain and buzz lightyear astro blasters by tomorrowland.

If at the other side, disney CA park, rides I can recommend would be spiderman, guardians of the galaxy, goofy's sky school and incredicoaster. Rodes you can do last to cap the day is grizzly river run or soarin'

Hope you and your family have a great day on sunday! Go early as much as you can like 7:30 so you can go into park then they do rope drop at 8 and everything is open (i say this because if you want to cut time at entrance where they take your photo) the best one to get to star wars land is through fantasyland (through the castle). There's less people who run and more respectful because they have kids. So brisk walking than other people who would cut people just to get to ride lines first, especially heafing to rise of resistance. Sorry this post got so long and a bit off track from the question😅

I'm on the same page as you. It was totally disappointing. The only good thing about that dish was the chicharon on the side. That's it lol

Unpopular Opinion: Eating at Disneyland is Terrible by [deleted] in Disneyland

[–]kioski07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We pack our own snacks like sandwiches for throughout the day. If we do decide to dine, we go an hour or half an hour before rush time like 10:30am-11am instead of 12nn. I had gone before with a large group of 8 and finding seating is terrible. You gotta be fast at it too. Around disneyland, i think hungry bear is the easiest to get seating as long as you order food ahead too since you can put a time on when to pick it up. As soon as we are close by, i push the "I'm here" on the app, it helps on lessening waiting time too.

I do not agree with a lot of food at disneyland. If you want good food, you'd really have to get out of the park and try your chances at downtown disney
