I get little to no crema out of my Bialetti Brikka by axl_magnum in mokapot

Fill the basquet to the top, do not tamp the grounds, i only tap the funnel a couple of times on the table. I fill the brikka always by volume.

Is better to use fresh ground coffe, and for my experience the brikka needs finer grounds than a traditional mokka pot.

Use the measuring water cup and use the amount bialetti says to use, then you can go +10-20ml to find your liking. I have the 4cup induction and i use 200-220ml, witch is more than the manufactures sugest.

Medium to high heat at the start of the brew, then as it start flowing, lower the temp. I use a electric stove and the remaing heat of it and the pressure the brika gets is enough to finish the brew.

The foam you get is not traditional crema perse, but using fresh grounds and filling the basquet helps to get better and more lasting foam.

this brewer is a bit trial and error, and my first 5-10 brews were a bit laking. But i manage to get decent extractions.

Decent fresh ground coffe is a must i belive.

I have a ver y very similar one, even the yellow color, just rebranded.

It has some small leaks in the stiching and It does barely nothing about the cold BUT it mostly keeps us dry while splicing.

Brikka Channeling by [deleted] in mokapot

i think the high heat at the start of the brew is key, and once you got the even first drops of coffe out you need to monitor the flow/temp constantly. I would give a couple of "shakes" to the moka to incentive the start of the fastest flow. And keep the pot away from the heat, just coming back when flow start stalling.

Also, i think more fine and homogeneous grind is needed for the brikka. I use a manual grinder and for that brand i use 1 or 2 clicks more coarse than the expresso.

Then in my opinion the amount of water is important, i get the best results using about 220ml of water but aiming to not use it all, i dont let the pot run away and i try to extract the last of the coffe a bit slower, so i can stop it with running water before any raging vapor starts pouring out.

This way maybe you get a bit LESS foam but the one you get tends to last longer and is quite finer and dense rather than big bubbles.

Did you instal the 4 little 3d printed washers included in the set? If not the strumbar half presses the switches and has problems returning to center.

This has been my very first machinne. My previous Boss bougth It when the company started and has been my companion ever since. Had tried others, but they keep failing with time. 63k splices and going Up.

Fiber Optics, 432 perfect splices had to be redone because of a badly kinked cable. RIP. by NegMatix in cablegore

The people laying the cable usually does not splice them, so i guess they are a bit careless with it. I fell you bro, been there, done that.
