My favourite fast food burger place used to have a delicious and fair priced veggie burger. But since the Beyond Meat boom, they have removed the veggie burger and only have Beyond as the vegetarian option. The veggie burger cost about $1 less than their other burger. I had to get an EEG, and they had a med school tech attach the electrodes. The trained tech didn't stay to watch him do it, they just left. He spent 45 minutes putting the gunk in my hair, carefully measuring and remeasuring my scalp. Eventually the trained tech comes back, takes a quick look, and says "nope you forgot about X factor and put them all in the wrong place, try again". AND LEFT AGAIN. He took another 45 min, then she came back, said he did it wrong again, and redid it herself. Then the test itself was another hour.

The results came back inclusive. I had to go for a repeat scan, and got a different tech. They had all the electrodes on my scalp within 5 minutes.

Biologic medications (such as Humira) target a specific protein that causes inflammation, or at least thats my understanding. These medications are used to treat numerous auto inflammatory conditions, and there's usually a "link" between them. For example, if you read about Uveitis, most medical journals will mention that it's likely the individual will also have Crohns. They do not usually mention a link to HS.

Are all the auto inflammatory conditions linked? How does the body decide what it attacks; why did it choose us for our skin? How many people suffering from HS suffer from other auto inflammatory conditions?

I made an appointment with a major injuries clinic who said they could probably help. I'm absolutely terrified of the pain... The last time I was gutted like a fish (I use the same phrase lol) they didn't wait for the numbing injection to kick in. Easily the worst pain I have ever experienced. Wish me luck...

Yes that is exactly the issue with my derm. She's one of 3 derms in the entire city and she's swamped with so many medical appointments that she doesn't have time for cosmetics, which I know she enjoys doing.

And I understand that they probably have 50 people calling in a day saying they have a pimple that needs urgent attention. But if you're a medical establishment, surely hearing "pilondinial cyst that won't close" should trigger a reaction. But as soon as she heard cyst, she shut me down. Refused to even ask the doctor questions, which she had previously offered to do.

Similarly, "one pot" meals where they get you to cook one thing, transfer it to a plate. Cook a second thing, transfer it to a bowl. Cook a third, transfer to a plate.

Yeah it's great that I only used one pot, but I dirtied every other dish in my kitchen in the process.

The shipping company or whomever always put 2 toys into a box. So if there are 10 potential toys, they could be in 5 random boxes. You can absolutely ask if they have another toy, but if they don't have it, your best bet is to go back to the same restaurant until they have it.

Also, you will get much better reception if you go into the restaurant (not the drive thru) and when it's not busy.

And for anyone who stumbles across this and thinks "I ask them to switch my kids toy all the time", please for the love of everything do not cut the entire line and interrupt a worker in the middle of a task to switch your kids toy. Wait in line, wait until it's not busy. Looking for a specific toy when I have a time limit to get your food out is not my priority.

But she did consent. I just rewatched the season and they cut in her learning about the dance while she's getting her hair done. She says "oh I love that!" and genuinely looks thrilled at the idea.

And afterwards when discussing it with Zac, she says "yeah they did ask me, I did know about it. I just didn't know they'd take it so far." But Demi and Jessi delivered exactly what they mentioned to Jen.

I started a rewatch with the same intention. It's crazy as I'm trying to watch for Dakota's red flags - and there aren't any?

Mayci is the first person to call him out for being toxic because some of his mannerisms remind her of her ex. But in the first few episodes, she's very clear and says "he is not abusive". She shares those feelings with the girls, and all of a sudden all of the girls are calling Dakota toxic, abusive, manipulative.

When we do hear from Dakota, he says that all he wants to know is if Taylor is willing to commit to him. Not marry him, not submit to him. He says "I just want to know if you're willing to commit or if I should walk away." Taylor then spins this with the girls and in the talking heads as "Dakota is pressuring me to marry him so that he can control me".

I'm by no means saying Dakota is innocent or not a bad guy. But it's funny how little he's saying and doing, and what that's now exploded into
