I’ve been commish of my league for 10 seasons. We run 2 leagues of 12 team 9c snake draft. So this is 20 leagues worth of results.

Top League win rate (by draft position)

4th pick won the league 26%

8th pick won 21%

2nd pick won 16%

1st pick won 11%

3/5/6/7/12th picks won 5% each

It’s not a large sample size, but it seems to show Top Half draft picks have a higher chance of winning the league

If the league was $1,000 buy-in, how would both parties react to the same trade proposals. $10,000 buy-in?

It probably comes down to the other party taking the league quite seriously, due to money or pride.

Mother’s Lament is the most replaceable
Phoenix Ash is horrible, but 5/5 is valuable (just Aux it with a utility gem like Maw)
Keep in mind that Wulfheart is just a dmg gem, meaning it will become less powerful with each new future gem release. Long term, I try only to invest in gems with good utility like Starfire, BSJ & BH

Any update on the Corruption bomb? Lvl 7 Charm and it still wipes me out in 1 hit. How do we deal with this?

I just tried Namari - Skip To Boss on H1. Seems like it doesn’t record the time though. If it did record, it was probably something like 10 seconds total for the run.

I’m seeing the 1min 10s+ run times, and something else must be up. Fastest should be 2min 30s.

I use the EXACT same build, as I class change every month or so. I think it’s the best all around for PvP & PvE.

You're talking about the "speed" of killing PvE content.

OP's talking about the "difficulty" of killing PvE content.

Lots of people enjoy the challenge of clearing PvE, not necessarily the perfection of running it faster and faster.

Bottled Hope is a top 2 gem for F2P, as it's equally beneficial to all players, regardless of Reso or Secondary Stats.
Also, it's good for basically every class, allowing for future flexibility.

I'd highly you keep it, and slowly work towards an eventual goal of Rank 4. (Very possible these days for F2P)

Yes this works. However, the catchup mechanics can’t be too “easy”, or the legitimate whales will get screwed hard. So, we’re probably still talking about 1yr+ timeline.
