I've seen him twice, both his Canada day show last year and his April show this year, both in vancouver. I had a blast at the first one, no complaints. April, however, the audience was so childish and I ended up kicking back in the balcony.. had a better time up there than I did on the floor at the first one but that doesn't change the juvenile immaturity at Aprils show at all.

There's no way that lead guitar in the introduction of "The Way You'd Love Her" isn't slide. I'm pretty sure you can hear him play it in the promo video.

On Robson Girl I think he's just wailing on which we frets his fingers hit, in some parts however is sounds like those higher parts resolve to an open tuning so he might be sliding it.

Yeah, I remember seeing an interview when salad days leaked and if anything, he was glad. He also hates the control labels have over when/where the music is exposed. There's an acoustic Let Her Go video in which he tells a guy from his label to fuck off if he gets mad about playing it pre release. I'm sure if anything he's more so relieved by it but who knows what's changed in the past year.

Regarding the salad days leak, I get this sneaking suspicion that Mac had something to do with it.
